Play with Gravity is a unique motorcycle show based off the sport of mototrials. Despite the sport being well over 100 years old, it has sadly been very under promoted in the United States, which is where our mission starts to further promote and showcase the sport we love.

Play with Gravity started in 2003 as a way to promote a national event in our hometown of Casper, WY. After seeing the amazing response we were getting at various events, we decided to keep going with the shows. Hundreds of thousands of miles traveled, and hundreds of thousands of smiles later, we are still doing our best to promote the sport we love and entertain the masses while we are at it.

Who We Are and What We Do

Play With Gravity is a progressive Mototrials team based out of Casper, Wyoming. The company was formed in 2003 by Shad Petersen and Jon Fankhauser as a way to promote the sport of Motorials; A motorcycle competition series in which riders have to overcome obstacles on their motorcycles using control, balance and finesse. The company is interested in progressing the Mototrials world here in North America to reflect that of European Mototrials.

Play with Gravity currently offers several show options from a 2 1/2-hour feature entertainment act all the way down to a 20-minute grounds act to be performed several times a day. PWG performed 95 shows over 27 days during the 2012 season in 6 different cities across the country from as north as Minot, ND, south as Odessa, TX, as far west as Antioch, CA all the way over to Naples, FL. In addition to the shows, PWG also had 3 riders actively competing in the National Mototrials Championship as well as some other regional mototrials circuits.

Showing the public and other motorsports what type of riding can be accomplished on trials motorcycles is a huge pleasure for the team. Now riding, performing, and competing all over the country, Play With Gravity is showing their determination to fascinate audiences and push the sport to new limits.
